Threats from a Jeffco Candidate Running for Treasurer

Ken Horton's threat to a local Jefferson County woman.

Recently, I wrote about the State Convention that I attended last weekend.  My point was that there are those who take being chosen as a delegate more seriously than others.  Unfortunately, the candidate running for Jefferson County Treasurer took that as an attack on him even though I did not mention his name.  Now he has decided as is shown below to threaten me with brutality because I dared to question why some people feel it is a serious issue to represent your State as a delegate and others don't.  Ken Horton has decided that it is his responsibility to make sure he closes the mouths of those that dare to question him.  I guess it's easy to threaten a woman and warn her that if she dares to step foot in his lair at a fund raiser tomorrow in Pevely, he'll physically have her removed.  What happens if we should be so lucky as to end up with him as our county treasurer?  If you dare to question him regarding how he uses taxpayer money, will he see fit to throw you out of the county or use the power of his position in other ways?  Do we need someone in office that is already threatening people?  Hasn't Jefferson County been plagued enough with stories of being uncivil, a rough place to live, etc.?  Don't we want people in office that are ready to answer our questions and feel proud about being a part of a county where the people are well informed and aware of what is happening with their local government?  Mr. Horton has decided that he would prefer that I shut up and go away and if I won't go willingly, he'll force me to go!  That's a little frightening!!!
