During the winter season I try to hone my studio skills. I recently aquired a book by Howard Schatz, photographer extrodinaire, named "With Child", which is very artful black and white photos of pregnant women. The women are all very tastefully lit, usually with just one light, and they all look like sculptures. This book influenced me give this type of style a shot. Lucky for me I have a very good friend, Lizzy Warden, that is pregnant who wanted me to take some photos of her during her pregnancy. I gave her the Schatz book to study, a few days later we had a session, and she was nice enough to give me permission to post these photos.
