Brennan Woods Art Ranged From Crayons to Clay to Copper Tooling
Local art projects featured at elementary school.
At Brennan Woods Elementary School, the end of the year art showcase is a highlight for the whole district. Schools from Fenton to High Ridge to Cedar Springs put together a collection of their best pieces and bring them to the group show.Β
"We like to work together," said Katie Clark, Brennan Woods Elementary art teacher and coordinater of the event. "It's good for the students to show what they've been working on. They spend the year learning about color theory and principals of 2D and 3D art."
Students and families take in the show, and get inspired by the art from other schools. Many students admired projects they had not yet gotten to try out themselves.
