Dr. Daniel Wagner Joins SSM Heart Institute at St. Clare Health Center

Cardiologist Daniel Wagner, MD, has joined SSM Heart Institute at St. Clare Health Center. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a full range of heart diseases, including coronary artery disease, heart rhythm problems and congestive heart failure. He focuses on the prevention of heart disease through weight management, nutrition, exercise and other lifestyle changes.

Dr. Wagner conducts diagnostic cardiac testing such as angiograms, stress tests, cardiac ultrasounds, vascular ultrasounds and heart rhythm monitoring. He has special interest in nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.

Dr. Wagner holds a medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He continued his education with fellowship training in cardiovascular diseases at University of Maryland Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology.

He joins in practice fellow cardiologists Phillip Apprill, MD; Christopher Bauer, MD; Manoj Eapen, MD; M. Kiran Kancherla, MD; James Spadaro, MD; Hari Thanigaraj, MD; and Anish Thomas, MD; at their SSM St. Clare office, located at 1011 Bowles Avenue, Suite 205, in the St. Francis Medical Office Building.
