A-fib Sufferers: Learn about Latest Treatments for Heart Rhythm Disorders at St. Clare Health Center

The SSM Heart Institute at St. Clare Health Center is offering a free educational program for people with atrial fibrillation (A-fib) and other heart rhythm disorders. Electrophysiologist Christopher Bauer, MD, of the SSM Heart Institute, will explain the causes of A-fib, the risks of living with untreated heart rhythm disorders, and how they can be managed or cured. An electrophysiologist is a cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the heart’s electrical system.


 Guests will have the opportunity to get answers to their questions about treatment options. This event will be of special interest if individuals who have been diagnosed with A-fib and their loved ones.


 The program will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 29, in Fr. Krings Conference Center at SSM St. Clare Health Center at 1015 Bowles Avenue in Fenton, Mo. A complimentary dinner will be provided.
