A free training seminar is available through the Pastoral Care department of Cancer Treatment Centers of America® to help people help their loved ones go through this disease as well as to impart hope and encouragement through this difficult time.
A discussion about why faith is so important to health, why it’s important to reach out to cancer patients and their families, what cancer is and isn’t, the do’s and don’ts of hospital visitation as well as prevention information will take place during the seminar. Registration deadline is Sept. 15. Registration and a free continental breakfast will take place at 8 a.m. and lunch will be provided for $6.
