Signature Medical Group Presents "Vaccinations"

 Signature Medical Group's Community Nutritional Outreach program now partners with the Mid-east Area Agency on Aging to bring valuable health care information to senior citizens in senior centers throughout St. Louis. Through this partnership, the Signature Medical Group's private practice phsycians and registered dietitian present on a wide-range of health related topics including: orhopedic pain, cold and flu season, eating for health and preparing simple meals at home.


"The goal of this partnership is to offer community members important information on health and wellness. The physicians of Signature Medical Group want to make sure the senior community is well informed and educated on the importance of healthy living," Registered Dietitian Liz Erker explained.


Upcoming presentations include: "Vaccinations" on February 27 at 11 a.m. at the MEAAA Northwest Senior Resource Center, 6180 Highway MM in House Springs.

Signature MedicalGroup is comprised of more than 100 multi-specialty private-practice physicians, providing orthopedic, OB/GYN, gastrointestinal, allergy, family medicine, pediatrics, neurosurgery, colon and rectal surgery, surgical and dermatology services. Physicians at SMG’s 22 medical practices see patients at 31 locations
in the St. Louis area; Bolivar, MO, and now the Kansas City area. SMG physicians perform more than 405,000 patient visits and deliver more than 3,000 babies annually. Findings from a recent study show evidence that SMG physicians outperform other physicians in the St. Louis area by providing care at 20-30 percent less cost with excellent quality outcomes.
