The memorial will take place on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheldon Concert Hall. The doors open at 4:45 p.m..
This religious and interfaith event is to memorialize the events of 9/11. The musical program will be an opportunity to reflect and express sadness and regret, as well as to unify the community. The program will include: First Responders from the County Police and City and County Fire Departments - Presentation of the colors, former U.S. Senator John Danforth - Invocation, Christine Brewer - Soloist, Opera Theatre of St. Louis and String Quartet, St. Louis Symphony
