As the heat swelters on, families and pets from all over the St. Louis area head to this popular Fenton summer destination to cool off.
Summer fun is just a short drive away for many St. Louis-area residents who visit Fenton's George Winter Park.
If you're looking for a place to relax, swim, boat, fish or jetski, this park offers it all on the Meramec River, and it's been a popular destination for Fenton residents and others for years.
"I've been coming here pushing on 40 years," said Tom Brennan, of Fenton. "The powerboat races are what I originally came out here for."
