Gold Jewelry Target of High Ridge Theft

The following information was provided by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Approximately $5,800 in gold jewelry was stolen sometime between Sept. 15 and Jan. 28 from a home on Highway PP in High Ridge.

The missing items included a man's gold ring with a diamond inlay, a man's gold ring with three diamond inlays, a 14K gold Hamilton wrist watch, a 14K gold bracelet and a 14K gold rope chain.

The homeowner told sheriff's deputies the jewelry was stolen from the master bedroom of his home and that the last time he had seen the items was Sept. 15.

The homeowner also said he and his wife are always in the home and never leave. He said the last time they left was Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The homeowner said the only other individual with access to the home was his wife's stepson, who deputies are trying to locate.
