
ST. LOUIS – Mary L. Reitz, an officer in Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale P.C.’s litigation practice group, has been elected to the board of directors of Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers (MODL). MODL was established in 1984 to help defense attorneys provide the highest quality representation for clients throughout the state.
A litigator for more than 20 years, Reitz represents professional individuals and corporate clients in tort and commercial litigation, focusing on medical negligence and product liability. She represents health care providers in matters ranging from medical negligence litigation to licensure issues before the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Her tort practice representation extends to cases involving catastrophic injuries. Reitz also authors the Missouri Jury Instruction Handbook and co-authors Missouri Trial Objections.
Reitz received her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and also has a degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Reitz is a member of the board and executive committee of the Cancer Support Community, a local not-for-profit providing free education and support to cancer patients and their families. She is also a member of the Jefferson County Missouri Parks Commission.
