Jewelry, Cash, Checkbook Missing in Burglary

Lavernel Drive, Fenton

Jewelry, cash and a checkbook were was stolen March 21 in a burglary from a home on Lavernel Drive in Fenton. Missing from the office and master bedroom of the home were seven $100 bills, a checkbbook (from which two checks were3 cashed), a diamond ring, two gold "pinkie" rings, one with three diamonds and the other with a small diamond surrounded by diamond chips, a gold and silver bracelet and a shark tooth pendant with a silver necklace. The value of the items was set at $2,875. The victim discovered the thefts following notification from his bank that someone was cashing checks from his account. He then inventoried the contents of his home and noticed the jewelry items were missing. The has a suspect in the case but have been unable to locate him. The investigation is ongoing.

Green Creek Drive, Fenton

A 2007 blue and white Hisun dirt bike was stolen March 20 from a trailer home on Green Creek Drive, Fenton. The bike had been parked in front of the home. The sheriff's department has no suspects in the case.
