Kevin Carl Bids Farewell to Northwest Schools

Assistant superintendent to take the helm at the Hancock Place School District in Lemay.

The Northwest School District Board of Education said its goodbyes to Assistant Superintendent Kevin Carl Thursday as he attended his last board meeting.

"This has been a terrific nine years, probably the best nine years of my careeer," said Carl, who was known as an administrator who squeezed every penny from the district's budget and kept a watchful eye on all contracts for services to the district.

Carl's easy demeanor and business-like approach to issues in the district were lauded by the board.
