Kids Swing Into Junior Tournament at Riverside Golf Club
After seven weeks of classes, children compete for trophies in a Junior Golf Tournament at Riverside Golf Club.
This week at Riverside Golf Club, members of the Junior Golf League competed in a 9-hole par-3 tournament for their second-to-last week of the summer Junior Golf program.
Children 8-15 years old were divided up based on their handicap from previous weeks and split into even teams to play a scramble.
"My favorite thing is putting," said Colin Knox, 13, of Fenton.

"I like that it's different from every other sport. It's fun and you get to walk around and play," said Anna Kinder, 13, of Fenton.
The program is offered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the summer. Registration for next year's Junior Golf program begins in the spring.
