Kissing a Pig and Images of the Menagerie at Our Savior Lutheran School

Students and staff at Our Savior Lutheran School, Fenton, observed Lutheran Schools Week in a variety of ways.

Students and staff at , Fenton, scheduled many dress-up days and other events last week to mark Lutheran Schools Week.

One of the dress-up events challenged staff and students to dress up as their favorite fictional animal.

Principal Blair Bueckman, who was dressed as one of the Three Little Pigs, additionally challenged students to buy more books during a Book Fair that ran simultaneously with Lutheran Schools Week activities. Bueckman promised the students she would kiss a pig if they reached their sales goal.

Bueckman probably should know better. Last year she made a similar challenge to students to collect shoes for the Shoeman Water Projects, which resulted in her belly-crawling around the gym floor around the hundreds of shoes the students collected.Β

This time, the students came through again, reaching their goal and looking forward to a return engagement to see their principal kiss a pig.
