Kitten Thrown From Car Will Likely Lose Tail

The kitten, found in Valley Park, is believed to have been thrown out a car window by its tail. It's alive, but will reportedly have to have its tail amputated.

According to KMOV.com,Β the 5-week old kitten was reportedly found in Valley Park, near the intersection of Highway 141 and Vance on Monday.

Kathy Mosley reportedly told KMOV that her daughter found the animal and they took it toΒ Webster Groves Animal Hospital where aΒ veterinarian determined theΒ kitten was likely thrown from a car by its tail.

According to KMOV, theΒ cat was treated and taken home by the Mosley's where it is recovering, but will have to have itsΒ tail amputated. Β That procedure will costs approximatelyΒ $300, the article states.
