MSD to Hold Public Hearings on Rate Proposal
St. Louis County residents could see major increases in sewer bills over the next four years.

The Metropolitan Sewer District is holding open hearings for the public to ask questions about a rate proposal that would increase billsΒ for area residents.
The proposal would finance more than $1 billion in investments to the areaβs water collection and treatment system after aΒ lawsuit by the Environmental Protection Agency.Β
The public hearings, which run Aug. 16 through Sept. 26, are as follows:
