Northwest School District Receives Top Award
Northwest meets 14 out of 14 academic standards to earn Distinction in Performance for High Achievement designation for the ninth consecutive year

The was one of a handful of area school districts recently honored for receiving the Missouri's βDistinction in Performance for High Achievementβ for nine consecutive years.
Board President Sherri K. Talbott and Superintendent Paul Ziegler accepted the award at a banquet hosted by Cooperating School Districts of St. Louis.
"Distinction in Performance" is based on 14 academic performance standards that are the basis of the stateβs accreditation program for all school districts. The standards are based on scores from the state-mandated MAP/EOC tests, graduation rate, attendance, ACT scores, and other indicators. Northwest met 14 out of 14 standards.
