Student Artist Honored at Northwest

As a way to recognize the efforts of the Northwest School District Board of Education last week, the administration presented each school board member with a framed copy of artwork by Brennan Woods Elementary School 2nd grader Joshua Denton.

The presentation was at Thursday night's school board meeting, where Joshua was regaled by those who received a copy of his work.

Monet has nothing on you," said Sherry Talbott, referring to the French artist known for his paintings featuring water lilies.

Joshua's artwork featured a Japanese-style bridge crossing a pond of water lillies.
