SSM St. Clare Health Center is an American Beauty

, 1015 Bowles Ave., Fenton, has been identified as a top 10 most beautiful hospital in America. In June, St. Clare was selected as a finalist from more than 350 nominations in Soliant Health’s Most Beautiful Hospital in America contest for its architectural style, photogenic properties, landscaping and distinctiveness. After a month of public voting and more than 170,000 votes, SSM St. Clare ended up ranked ninth.

“St. Clare was designed to create a safer, more comfortable healing environment for both our patients as well as their families,” said Bill Hoefer, president of St. Clare Health Center. “Evidence shows nature supports healing, so large expanses of windows throughout the facility let in ample sunlight and offer views to our beautiful campus.”

"From the large, all-private patient suites with nursing stations inside and outside the patient’s room to the beautiful two-story natural stone water wall that graces the lobby, St. Clare is truly a hospital like no other,” Hoefer said.
