St. Paul Parish Homecoming Set for Friday, Saturday
Food, fun and frivolity will be the order of the day as the parish is ready for its annual festival. A parade kicks off the Saturday portion of the homecoming activities

The rides will be running, a lot of BBQ will be consumed and excitement will be high Friday and Saturday as the grounds will be filled with people at the St. Paul Homecoming Festival.
The festivities are from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and will feature food from various vendors that will include BBQ, pulled pork, grilled cheese, soda, pretzels Ted Drewes Frozen Custard and SnoCones among many other carnival delicacies.
There will be a "closest to the pin" golf contest on the soccer field, raffles ticket salespull tabs, games of chance and live music by "My Own Medicine." A Vendor Fair also will be part of the offerings on site during the homecoming.

The Saturday schedule begins at 9:30 a.m. with a parade that starts at the headquarters at 845 Gregory Lane, and features the St. Paul Marching Band. Kindergarten teacher Millie Morrow is the grand marshal of the parade. The homecoming will wrap up at 10 p.m.
The same lineup of food offerings and refreshments will be available. In addition, back by popular demand is a plant booth. There also will be a cake booth. Bingo in the church basement will be at 11 a.m., a washers tournament at 1 p.m., music at 2 p.m., a chicken dinner at 4 p.m., a Mass on the soccer field at 4:30 p.m. and live music by "Phoenix at 6 p.m.
