Stuckmeyer’s Farm is Still the Best Pumpkin Patch

If you don't want some lame store bought pumpkin, head over to Stuckmeyer's Farm in Fenton. Here you'll find pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins.

Heading to a farm for pumpkin picking is great for making fall memories--who wants to pose their kids next to a Walmart pumpkin bin? No one, that's who. Stuckmeyer's has a great little field full of pumpkins, plus a huge green house full of pre-priced pumpkins set up on haybales just waiting for photo ops.

Weekdays at Stuckmeyer's are more relaxed, perfect for stay-at-home moms with a pre-schooler. If you’re available during the day and want a nice picture of your kid communing with the pumpkins, go on a during the week.

But if you want pony rides, kettle corn, bouncy houses and live music you’ll want to wait for the weekend. Weekends in October turn into crazy festivals of pumpkin picking madness! Sure, there's a crowd, but it's also more fun.

Check out a few of my other favorite pumpkin patches over at StlMotherhood.com. We'll see you in the field!
