Summit Sinks U. City With Last Second Touchdown
Joe Schenk's 1-yard touchdown catch with 11 seconds left lifts Summit to win over U. City

FENTON -- After giving up the go-ahead touchdown with 1:12 left in an important Suburban South Conference game, the Summit Falcons drove the length of the field, and scored a touchdown of their own with 11 seconds left, to claim a 17-12 victory over visiting University City, Thursday night at Summit High's Falcon Stadium.
Quarterback Tyler Karst won the game for Summit, with a 1-yard touchdown pass to wideout Joey Schenk on a quick fade pass that lifted the Falcons to a win that didn't seem possible after U. City had scored just a minute earlier to take its first lead of the night.
The visiting Lions grabbed the lead when DeAndre Williams hit Alex Henry for a 12-yard score that beat double-coverage, and gave U. City a 12-10 late in the fourth quarter.
