Summit's Zell Accepts Westminster Athletic Director Position

When Westminster Christian Academy takes to the field in a new home in Town and Country next fall, there will be a new person in charge of Wildcat Athletics.

The new person is Todd Zell, the current activities director at Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton

Earlier this year, the school said Athletic Director Alan Miller would step down at the end of the current school year. Late Tuesday afternoon, Westminster announced he would be replaced by Zell, who has been in that role for the last four years and has also spent 11 years as a math teacher, and a head coach or assistant coach for softball, baseball and golf.

In a statement, Westminster's Head of School Jim Marsh praised Miller's leadership over the last six years. "Alan was instrumental in guiding the design of Westminster’s new state-of-the-art athletic facilities in Town & Country. It goes without saying that our community has been truly blessed by his work here at Westminster," Marsh said in the statement.
