By the time deputies arrived at the home, the intended victim had already returned the knife to a butcher block knife holder. He said he didn't recall which knife was used in the incident and told the deputy that he would need a search warrant to seize the knife.
Both parties were arrested and transported to booking, then released pending application of warrants on suspicion of assault, unlawful use of a weapon and property damage.
