The Jefferson County Genealogical Society scheduled a Family History Writing Seminar from 3 to 7 pm at Hope Lutheran Church at 2308 Gravois Rd, in High Ridge on June 23. Committee members will be on hand to help people compile and write their histories for inclusion in the upcoming family history book on Jefferson County.
Family histories and photos as well as orders for the book and paid histories will be taken during the seminar as well. The deadline for submitting materials and reserving books is July 30.
Books are available on a pre-sale basis only. The limited edition book must be reserved by sending your order and check for $54.95 per book to JCGS at PO box 1342 High Ridge, MO 63049. Family histories and photos should be sent to the same address.
