Police say the 23-year-old suspect fled with his 12-year-old brother in the vehicle before being caught and now faces multiple felony charges, while county detectives continue investigating.
   

• Former MoDOT supervisor accused of using state-issued credit cards for personal purchases, stealing newly-purchased mowers (kmov.com) — A former MoDOT maintenance supervisor from Florissant is accused of charging about $50,000 in personal purchases to state credit cards and stealing mowers and a trailer from a maintenance facility. Prosecutors say he tried to cover his tracks with falsified invoices, a staged burglary, and even an anonymous tip, with alleged crimes spanning late 2022 through mid-2026.
