Madeline Thompson, of Florissant, has achieved Semifinalist status in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Less than 1% of the Nation's seniors qualify as semifinalists. Madeline now has the opportunity to advance in the competition for Finalist standing and for merit scholarship awards.
Maggie Burreson and Morgan Meyer have been designated as Commended Students, placing among the top 5% of more than 1.5 million juniors who took the PSAT last year.
Steven Johnson has been named an Outstanding Participant as a National Achievement Scholar. He scored in the top 3% of 160,000 Black Americans taking the PSAT.
