Do You Want A Taste of Florissant?

While driving down Lindbergh the other day, apparently with food on my mind, I thought to myself, "Why doesn't the City of Florissant have a Taste of Florissant event?"

Lindbergh has an endless supply of national chain and independently owned restaurants, not to mention the restaurants, bakeries and confectioneries that exist on the other main streets of Florissant.

It would be a great opportunity for the small businesses to come out and show the residents of Florissant and other nearby municipalities what they are cooking up. It would also be another great family-oriented event that our city could add to their roster and perhaps something to look forward to year after year like the Valley of Flowers events. We have more than enough commerce of this genre to support such an event.
