B L U A N T Music Group is proud to announce a FREE CD Release Party/Concert to celebrate the release of Derek’s full length album called “Cowboy Way”- produced by Steve Mandile in Nashville. The title track, “Cowboy Way”, is an upbeat/country rock feel that will get you up out of your seat. The song has been added to the Dallas Cowboys’ home games playlist this year. The single was released online and to national country radio Sept 1, 2013 and is currently being promoted through the end of December and doing very well through Grass Roots Promotions, based in Nashville.
Derek was born and raised in Florissant, Missouri and will be in town for the holidays this year. Derek is excited to have a chance to see old friends, family, and new fans on Dec 26th for the CD Release Party of “Cowboy Way”. The concert, meet-n-greet, and intimate personal event will be held in Derek’s home town of Florissant at Yacovelli’s. Derek is hoping the local country stations and press from St. Louis will be attending the event as well. Derek states “it is important to support local businesses in Florissant and Yacovelli’s have been extremely generous about the idea of this event, and longtime friends of our family. Please come out and support Yacovelli’s”.
What can you expect from the event? Derek will be sharing his stories and journey how his music label was started and joining up with a few local St. Louis musicians to assist Derek with his acoustic performance to showcase the new songs on the album. In addition, reasons behind why each song on the album was written or chosen. Derek is hopeful it will be a very interactive conversation and will answer any questions in an open forum for the folks that attend. You can have a chance to go one-on-one with Derek and hang out with Derek and your friends. Please invite all you can! Remember it is FREE!
The event will begin at 7:30pm – 10:00pm. Derek will have the “Cowboy Way” CD, along with merchandise for attendees to purchase.
