Parker Road Baptist Church will host its Annual Car Cruise and Community Party on Saturday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the church parking lot at 2675 Parker Road, just west of the James J. Eagan Civic Center. Car owners are encouraged to come early. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 100 vehicles. Three award plaques will be given for the "People's Choice", "Pastor's Choice", and "Director's Choice" for the selected vehicles. The event is open to everyone and will offer a free pork steak lunch and attendance prizes. This is a free event but we will be taking donations for Hunting for Heroes, an organization that provides resources, including recreational therapy and counseling, to disabled law enforcement officers who were injured in the line of duty.
