Daughter, Your Faith has Saved You - A Retreat for Women

Spend an afternoon with the women of the Gospels.  Enter their stories through the eyes of feminine spirituality and discover the treasures they hold for women today.  In a society where women hardly mattered, why did they matter to Jesus? What do their relationships with Jesus teach us about who Jesus was and is for us today?  What messages do their voices carry?  How can we raise them up as prophets, teachers and disciples?  We’ll explore the wisdom of theologians as well as trust our own wisdom and perspectives to bring these scriptures to life.

About the Presenter:  Kathleen Davis holds a Masters of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Aquinas Institute of Theology.  She is a certified Youth Minister and is currently working on becoming a certified Spiritual Director.
