Wellspring Church is located at 33 S. Florissant Rd., Ferguson, 63135. All are welcome to attend the service and the meal. A secondary location at Koch Elementary, 1910 Exuma Dr., 63136 will also serve food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers to prepare and contribute are needed, please contact 314-521-4217 to find out how to help.
βThanksgiving is a day to not only give thanks for what weβre blessed with, itβs a day to open our hearts and our doors to others who may not have a home to enjoy a shared meal in today,β said Pastor F. Willis Johnson of Wellspring Church.
βThis shared Thanksgiving meal is a great, newer tradition between the two faiths,β said Reverend Steve Lawler of St. Stephenβs Episcopal Church. βWhile each of our churches are always open to anyone, sometimes thatβs forgotten. On Thanksgiving we want everyone to feel like they have a place to go.β
