Florissant Family Injured in I-70 Accident Saturday

A Florissant family was involved in a multi-car crash on Interstate 70 of the Blanchette Bridge Saturday afternoon.

Four cars, who were all traveling westbound, were involved, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Two vehicles, including the car carrying the Florissant family, were stopped when another car failed to stop, which caused a domino-effect of bumps and strikes between the four cars and their bumpers.

Four members of the Bears family, who rode in a  2006 Ford Freestyle, were taken to DePaul Health Center. Driver Gale Barnes, of St. Louis, was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

All wore a seat belt according to the report.
