Florissant Man Suffers Minor Injuries in Sunday Car Crash

Darriyon Jones ran into a car that had stopped on the highway.

A Florissant man received minor injuries from a car crash that happened on Interstate 70 Sunday.

Darriyon Jones, 18, drove a 2001 Chevrolet Lumina that hit a stopped 1999 Ford Expedition on I-70, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol report.

Jones and his passenger were transported to DePaul Hospital.

The other car received moderate damage and was able to be driven from the scene. The driver of that car didn’t receive any injuries.

According to the report, both drivers wore seat belts.
