Florissant Planning and Zoning Approve Two Recommendations

The Florissant Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval for two items during Monday night’s meeting.

The commission unanimously approved a new Internet café to come into Florissant and the expansion of Cross Keys Auto making for a speedy meeting.

The Spot Café would be located at 1772 Thunderbird and would feature Wi-Fi access, computer access and video games. The café would also feature prepackaged food for its customers. The café’s special permit request will now go to the Florissant City Council in a few weeks.

Architect Joe Dale presented plans on behalf of to make an addition onto the existing building for more sales offices.

The special use permit request for a night club, was continued until the April 2 meeting. The commission also continued its review of the historic business district.
