Florissant Police Blotter

A house fire and second-degree burglary fill this week's police blotter.

Emergency services responded to a report of a residential fire in the 1600 block of N. New Florissant Road. Upon arriving at the scene, the house was filled with smoke, and the resident’s occupant was discovered unconscious inside of the home. After being revived, she was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Cigarettes are believed to be the cause of the fire.

Police responded to a second-degree burglary at a residence in the 300 block of Marechal and made three arrests. A witness spotted three young men knocking on the door of the house and going toward the back of the house when no one answered. Upon police arriving, all three fled the residence, but police caught up with them later and arrested them. Warrants will be issued later.
