A number of burglaries transpired in the past week as well as a single arrest for gun possession.
Feb. 2
Police responded to a burglary in the 900 block of Fifth Plaza. The burglar entered the residence through a bathroom window and stole two electronic game systems.
A burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Meadowgrass when the resident interrupted it. The burglar stole the victim’s purse and a Wii game system.

Feb. 3
A second-degree burglary happened in the 1200 block of Swan when the burglar forced open a carport door. The person of interest stole a camera and jewelry.

Feb. 5
Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 800 block of North St. Charles St. The burglar entered a business by breaking a window of the garage and stole a 2010 Ford Mustang.
Feb. 8
Police arrested a Spanish Lake man in the 600 block of North New Florissant when he was found to be in possession of a handgun.
