Copper pipe thefts continue to plague the local department.

Sept. 14

Police responded to a second-degree burglary in the 900 block of Harrison. Police didn’t find any signs of forced entry; however, an electric stove had been removed from the vacant house.

A second-degree burglary took place in the 3500 block of St. Catherine. Thieves entered the school after breaking glass on the doors. According to the report, a gaming system and food were taken.

In the 3800 block of Woodcrest, police responded to a second-degree burglary. Thieves stole copper pipes from a vacant home.

Sept. 17

A second-degree burglary happened a block away from the previous day. Thieves broke into a vacant home in the 3900 block of Woodcrest and stole copper pipes.

Sept. 18

A second-degree burglary took place in the 600 block of Shadow Rock. Thieves entered the home through a garage door. Residents reported a flat-screen TV, laptop and Kindle stolen from the home.
