Several burglaries took place in the past week with safes and jewelry stolen.

Nov. 4
A second-degree burglary took place between 5:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Claver. Burglars entered through a rear garage door that was propped open. Resident reported jewelry was stolen.Â
Nov. 5
Police responded to two second-degree burglaries in the 1700 block of Croftdale and 1100 Ramport. The burglary in the Croftdale area happened between 6:45 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. Thieves forced open the side door of the carport and stole jewelry. In the Ramport area, the burglary occurred during the morning time, when the burglar pushed open a basement window. The victim reported a laptop stolen.Â

In the 300 block of West St. Anthony, a burglar broke a window on the rear door and stole jewelry.
In the 700 block of Lexington Park, the suspect entered through a rear basement window and stole a small safe.

In the 1800 block of Nottinghill Row, a window of an apartment was broken. The burglar entered and stole a small safe.Â
Nov. 10
Police responded to three second-degree burglaries throughout the day.Â
In the 1200 block of South Waterford, the burglar broke out the basement window and stole a laptop. A neighbor provided a profile of the possible suspect as a man in his twenties, standing between 5 foot, 6 inches and 5 foot, 9 inches. The suspect wore a black skull cap and a black hoodie and was seen getting in a black Ford Fusion. He was last seen driving south on South Waterford.
In the 1000 block of Ermanda, police didn’t find a point of forced entry. The resident said that they might have left a door unlocked while at work. A flat-screen TV was stolen.
In the 13800 block of New Halls Ferry, a ground floor apartment window’s was broken out. According to the report, nothing was missing.
Nov. 11
Police responded to a first-degree burglary in the 100 block of Paul. Two men entered the residence through an unlocked patio door. When one of the residents heard the noise, the men fled on foot toward Croftdale. The first suspect is described as 6 foot, 3 inches and weighing 250 pounds. He wore a yellow coat and had a black duffle. The second suspect is a thin man with long dreads and was carrying a bookbag. The men stole cash and a cell phone.
In the 500 block of Cherrydale, burglars entered through a front door. Several items were taken, according to the report, including two laptops, electronic gaming stations, iPod, camera and two guns.
In the 1st block of Brightmoor, someone forced open a rear door. The resident reported that an iPod and its docking station, an electronic game system, a laptop, tools and rifle were stolen.
A first-degree robbery took place in the 100 block of Graham Road around 2:14 a.m. A man in his late 20s entered a convenience store and ordered the store clerk to give him cash from the register. The man left the store after receiving the money and left on foot headed toward Hanley Road. No injuries were reported.
