Florissant Police Department Undergoes Some Transitions
To begin accommodating the retiring chief, the department has announced a number of reassignments.

Major Tim Lowery has been promoted to assistant police chief to help with learning more about his position and finding his leadership style, according to a press release from the mayor’s office Thursday.

- Capt. Sean Fagan will be the new leader of the Bureau of Field Operations.
- Capt. Randall Boden will lead the Bureau of Support Services.
- Lt. Timothy Fagan will lead the Bureau of Criminal Investigations.
Chief Karabas will retire Dec. 31, and Major Lowery will begin his new role Jan. 1, 2013.
