Florissant Police: May's Crime Numbers

The experienced 60 incidents of stealing and 19 burglaries, increases from the same time last year, according to the May crime report released by the .

The stealing offenses ranged from shoplifting to stealing from cars and buildings, while 16 property damage offenses were also counted during the month.

Last year, 10 burglaries were recorded as well as 36 incidents of stealing.

Last month, the department reported one burglary, compared to last year’s four.

There were also eight car thefts reported for the past month.
