Florissant Teen Dies in Crash in St. Charles County
An accident involving a freightliner truck leaves one dead.
A Florissant teen died Wednesday night in an accident involving a freightliner in St. Charles County.
A freightliner truck slowed down along U.S. 67 northbound to prepare to make a left turn when 18-year-old Hamza Hamdan, of Florissant, hit the rear of the truck in his 1996 Cadillac, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.
Hamdan was airlifted to Alton Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to the report, Hamdan was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
