On behalf of the Home Builders Charitable Foundation (HBCF), HBCF President Jim Brennan of McKelvey Homes (left), HBCF Board Member Greg Vatterott of Charles F. Vatterott Construction Company (second from right) and 2013 HBA President Charlie Boyce of Innsbrook Corporation (right) presented a $13,708 donation to Kathryn Feldt, director of development for Marygrove, and Meghan Mueller, development associate for Marygrove.
The donation will be used to replace siding and gutters on three of Marygrove’s Therapeutic Foster Homes. Marygrove is a residential treatment program which serves more than 170 youth per day through its broad continuum of programming for children and young adults with neurological, emotional and behavioral disorders, usually resulting from early childhood traumas. Marygrove’s Therapeutic Foster Homes offer adolescents and young adults with severe mental health issues an opportunity to recover, learn and grow in a family setting.
The HBA is a local trade association of more than 500 member firms representing the residential construction industry. The Home Builders Charitable Foundation, the HBA’s charitable arm, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing assistance to people or organizations with special shelter needs.
