Hula Down to Old Town Florissant
Florissant hosts the second Wednesday Night Out of the year.

If you’re dreaming of Hawaiian leis and hula skirts, Florissant can get you there—sort of.
On Wednesday night, the City of Florissant and Florissant Old Town Partners puts on “.” The theme for this month is “Let’s Luau.”
Residents will be treated to music from Rock This Boat, games and Kona Hawaiian Ice.

In addition, the first 100 attendees receive flower leis, and there are contests for the best island party outfit and limbo.
manager Joe Thomasson said it’s going to be a great party with a lot of fun.

“It’s like a good neighborhood block party,” he said.
Thomasson said that the purpose of the Wednesday Nights Out is to get people out and into the Old Town street.
This is the second Wednesday Night Out of the year, with one more remaining in September.
Wednesday Night Out takes place in Old Town Florissant near rue St. Francois and rue St. Pierre from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
