New Signage Highlights Athletico Physical Therapy's Commitment to Keep St. Louis Residents Healthy, Active and Pain-Free

Better for every body.

The Athletico Physical Therapy name and signage are appearing throughout the St. Louis area announcing the next phase of the company’s commitment to treat people of all ages and help them return to doing the things they love. Whether that’s playing catch with the kids, working at a computer, running a marathon or winning a World Series, Athletico’s specialists can treat anything from everyday aches and pains to more debilitating injuries.

Athletico first entered the St. Louis market in December 2014 when it acquired Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, which includes local physical therapy provider PRORehab with 28 facilities throughout the greater St. Louis area. All PRORehab facilities will now become Athletico facilities creating a unified brand and reaching a greater number of patients with a wider range of services.

β€œWe share PRORehab’s commitment to offering highly trained and skilled therapists who provide high-quality clinical care and customer service,” said Mark Kaufman, President/CEO. β€œPatient satisfaction, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement are at the core of Athletico’s values and our patients can be assured of that commitment from the moment they walk in the door until they finish therapy and are healthy, active and pain-free.”

Forming relationships and being an active member of the communities it serves also are central to how the company does business, whether partnering with local schools, kids’ soccer teams, endurance training groups, or amateur and professional sports organizations.

In addition to the 28 facilities, the Athletico name also can be seen at Busch Stadium. Announced earlier this year, Athletico is now a proud partner of the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). As part of the new multi-year agreement, Athletico has a presence at Busch Stadium and receives media exposure, as well as provides post-race stretching for runners at the annual Cardinals Care 6K and Fun Run.

β€œPRORehab is proud to combine with Athletico and provide the best care with the most convenient locations in the St. Louis community,” said Jim Host, Vice President of Missouri Clinical Operations. β€œTogether, we hope we can make a difference in people’s lives.”

Making a difference and producing results are critically important to Athletico, which uses a third-party assessment company called FOTO. FOTO measures patient satisfaction and functional outcomes, and surveys indicate that 99 percent of patients would recommend Athletico to a friend.
