North County Group Files Second Lawsuit Regarding Nuclear Waste
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 16 people have filed a lawsuit due to their chemical contamination and health concerns.

A second federal lawsuit has been filed against a number of corporations, including Mallinckrodt Inc. presently known as Covidien pharmaceuticals, for manufacturing and disposing of nuclear waste in Cold Water Creek.
According to an article by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the lawsuit was filed by a group of former and current North County residents from Florissant, Hazelwood, St. Ann and Spanish Lake. According to the story, they were exposed to nuclear waste that contaminated the creek and caused a number of issues to their health, including different cancers and autoimmune diseases.
It seems that dangerous waste has become a hot topic for the North County area.
