Serenity Women's Healthcare Joins SSM Medical Group

Serenity Women’s Healthcare in Florissant has teamed up with SSM Medical Group to provide more care to the North County community as well as downtown St. Louis.

The group practice, who includes Dr. Carolyn Pryor, Dr. J. Lindsay Reed, Dr. Andrea Sample, Dr. Leslie Scott and health nurse practicioner Kelly Sonntag, has changed their name to SSM Medical Group Ob/Gyn-Serenity, according to a press release.

“In order to continue to provide the type of quality health care we are known for in our community, and due to the many economic and regulatory requirements, it became necessary to align with a large health care network that was also committed to the same cause,” Dr. Pryor said in a press release. “We also want to support SSM DePaul Health Center, the only hospital in North County that provides maternity services.

The group will continue to serve patients in their Florissant office as well as their downtown location.
