βIt is up to us to provide our youth with positive images of themselves in the marketplace and expose them to the many career opportunities available to them,β said Aja Williams, GSLABJ president. βThe goal of the Minority Journalism Review is simple. We want to nurture the next generation of minority journalists, because having people of color in the newsroom is one small but crucial step toward ensuring positive and balanced coverage of all communities. It goes along with our βDeveloping Our Futureβ¦Strengthening Our Legacy,β motto.β
