SURGE summer camp in Ferguson

Still need summer camp for your children age 7-13? Canβt afford to spend much? The Center for Social Empowerment and Justice in partnership with Wellspring Church in Ferguson has you covered. Weekly day camps starting June 13, 20, 27 and July 11, 18 and 25 are forming now. SURGE summer day camps will be led by certified Americorps VISTA Summer Associates and the week-long camps will incorporate a variety of themes and projects to keep your children entertained and motivated to learn. Lunch and snacks will be provided for campers daily. Drop off time is 9:00 a.m. and pick up time is 2:00 p.m. daily at the Center located at 33 S. Florissant Rd., Ferguson, 63135. Each weekβs camp can host up to 75 children. Cost for each child in the camps is based on what you determine you can afford with a maximum fee of $20 per week. Each camp will include crafts and games that kids will participate in each day. Each camp will also include science experiments, drama, art, a reading nook session, and math skills competitions. During the course of the summer the children will learn from each of the subjects with the lessons changing on a weekly basis.
